Through this Program, girls will receive age-appropriate practical training in producing simple household hygiene products, while learning the importance of personal hygiene, safe production practices, packaging, pricing, and basic entrepreneurship.
This activity goes beyond teaching girls how to make a product. It creates an opportunity for them to connect knowledge with practical skills and future livelihoods. By learning how hygiene products are produced, packaged, priced, and marketed, girls gain valuable foundations for small enterprise development and future employment.
Impact on the Community
The impact will extend from individual girls to their families and communities. Increased knowledge of hygiene can encourage healthier practices at home and in schools, while practical production skills can create opportunities for girls to contribute economically as they grow.
For girls from vulnerable households, these skills can strengthen confidence, independence, creativity, and economic resilience. With continued mentorship, some participants may be able to develop small businesses around locally needed hygiene products, creating income for themselves and potentially employment for others.
For donors, supporting this activity is an investment in both human potential and community resilience. Your support helps girls gain practical skills that complement their education, strengthens their confidence to pursue economic opportunities, and equips them with knowledge that can contribute to healthier, more self-reliant communities.
Every skill learned today can become an opportunity tomorrow—helping a girl stay in school while preparing her to build a dignified and productive future.
