Menstruation is a natural part of growing up, yet girls experiencing menstrual poverty can face embarrassment, silence, and uncertainty when they lack adequate support. Through Keep Her in School, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to create a more supportive environment where girls can manage menstruation with dignity.
Providing menstrual pads is an important part of this work. Equally important is creating opportunities for girls, parents, caregivers, and communities to understand menstrual health and discuss it without unnecessary shame.
For the girls we serve, this can create a stronger sense of confidence and belonging. They can approach their school days with greater preparation and feel supported rather than isolated when menstruation begins.
Our commitment to girls is part of a wider education mission. More than 60 children are preparing for their final examinations in early November, and we are supporting these learners as they work toward an important milestone.
Donor support enables us to address both immediate needs and longer-term educational challenges.
We are thankful to everyone who has contributed to this work, including supporters who have stood with our programs through GlobalGiving.
Your support helps us create more than distributions. It helps create knowledge, dignity, confidence, and opportunity.
By joining this mission, donors can help ensure that girls are not held back by menstrual poverty and that children approaching their examinations have the support needed to continue progressing toward their educational goals.
