Time continues to fly and we are already in the second month of this year 2024, so it is time to tell you how we ended the year 2023 and how we have made progress during this year with the “Mujeres ROFÉ” program in Colombia.
We ended the year 2023 full of great pride, since thanks to the efforts of the ROFÉ foundation work team, its mentors and allies, and the support of all of you, we managed to consolidate a community made up of more than 3,300 women heads of household belonging to 432 municipalities in 30 departments of Colombia.
These figures show us that it was a very positive year for the consolidation and advancement of this beautiful program, which exceeded our goals and expectations, from January to December it allowed us to almost multiply by five (5) the number of women doing part of the community, and at the same time have a presence in almost 40% of the country's municipalities and in 94% of the departments that conform Colombia. A great achievement without a doubt.
All of the above not only becomes a challenge in this year 2024, but also gives us the impetus to continue working hard and in this way reach many more women throughout the country, allowing not only their growth but also of their families in both aspects: in personal and in their endeavors.
Below, we tell you in detail what we have done in the last few months since the previous report:
November 2023:
We continued with the development of the third cycle of training workshops that began in October, and during the month of November we enabled the workshop called “Entrepreneurship: Develop a business idea” on our training platform, in which 103 women of the community did a registration.
Throughout the development of this workshop, tools aimed at the development of their ventures were transferred to the participating women, through the application of methods and techniques that allowed them to develop their own business idea and subsequently build the same model to carry out their business. They also created the brand, logo, slogan and image of each of their businesses.
The women who completed this workshop were immediately enabled to request specialized advice from one of our mentors, for the validation and improvement of their business ideas, and in this way to be able to request seed capital to take it forward.
During this month, the third and fourth talks on “Businesses that build a country” were also given, supported by Banco de Bogotá and Quántica, which had begun in September, where topics for the creation of the brand were discussed. They also talked about the importance of making alliances for the development and implementation of ventures. Some of the results obtained after carrying out this workshop were:
- Participants improved their financial planning. 87% of the participants learned to calculate the break-even point of their businesses as a result of the training workshops, which has allowed them to make more assertive decisions.
- The participants increased their sales by 42.31%. 83% of the participants who have ongoing ventures stated that the workshops helped them to increase their sales through the implementation of learning.
- 68% of the participants began to listen to and analyze their clients as a result of the workshops.
- The participants defined the personality of their brand. 68% of the participants learned to define the personality of their brand as a result of the training workshops.
December 2023:
Taking into account the end of year festivities, where many of the women who are part of our community take the opportunity to market the products and/or services of their ventures in a more massive way, in the month of December we decided not to carry out any training workshop, thus preventing women from being unable to connect to them. However, during this month we continue giving complementary talks on Mindfulness and finance.
We also took advantage of this month to conduct a voluntary survey to the members of the community, which was open for 10 days, to measure the impact that the program is having on their lives and at the same time obtain feedback that allows us to improve it more and more and address the needs of our community. The survey was answered by almost 700 women, obtaining an average rating of 4.3 and being classified as “very useful” for the development of their business ideas and thus being able to move forward with their ventures.
January 2024:
Beginning the year, we gave the women of our community a space to rest so they could take advantage of time with their families and at the same time recharge for this new year. Meanwhile, we took the opportunity to plan the training workshops that we are going to give to the women of the community in 2024, as well as the complementary talks that our mentors and allies help us to give, leaving the training schedule defined until the end of year.
We analyzed in detail the results of the survey carried out in the month of December, and took into account the suggestions made by the women in order to nourish and enrich the program.
February 2024:
This February we celebrate two years since we officially launched the program, which has given us a lot of happiness and satisfaction.
During this month we welcomed the women to the program through a talk called “Coffee with the director”, a space in which we explained to the community what will be developed in this year 2024, and we were also able to obtain feedback from part of them about their expectations, which, added to the results of the survey, will allow us to focus in a better way on the needs and desires that women have in order to help them carry out their ventures.
We also opened the registration to the workshop “Skills for entrepreneurs of the 21st Century”, which will take place in the month of March.
In parallel, throughout this period of time we continue to periodically give complementary open talks on several topics such as Mindfulness, finances and female empowerment, which give much more comprehensiveness to our beneficiaries, contributing to their personal growth. We want to highlight the great reception that Mindfulness talks have among women, which have become a “cure for the soul” for many of them who take advantage of these spaces to free themselves from sorrows and burdens that afflict them in their daily lives.

El tiempo sigue corriendo a pasos agigantados, y ya estamos en el segundo mes de este año 2024, así que es tiempo de contarte como finalizamos el año 2023 y lo que hemos avanzando durante este año con el programa “Mujeres ROFÉ” en Colombia.
El año 2023 lo finalizamos llenos de mucho orgullo, ya que gracias al esfuerzo del equipo de trabajo de la fundación ROFÉ, de sus mentores y aliados, y al apoyo de todos ustedes, se logró consolidar una comunidad compuesta por más de 3.300 mujeres cabeza de hogar pertenecientes a 432 municipios de 30 departamentos de Colombia.
Estas cifras nos muestran que fue un año bastante positivo para la consolidación y avance de este bello programa, el cual superó nuestra metas y expectativas, ya que desde enero hasta diciembre nos permitió casi que multiplicar por cinco (5) el número de mujeres que hacen parte de la comunidad, y a la vez llegar a tener presencia en casi el 40% de los municipios del país y en el 94% de los departamentos que conforman a Colombia. Un gran logro sin lugar a dudas.
Todo lo anterior no solo se convierte en un reto en este año 2024, sino que nos da el impulso para seguir trabajando fuertemente y de esta manera llegar a muchas más mujeres de todo el país, permitiendo no solo su crecimiento sino también el de sus familias, tanto en aspectos personales como de sus emprendimientos.
A continuación, te contamos en detalle lo que hemos realizado en los últimos meses desde el informe anterior:
Noviembre de 2023:
Continuamos con el desarrollo del tercer ciclo de talleres de formación iniciado en el mes de octubre, y durante el mes de noviembre habilitamos en nuestra plataforma de formación el taller denominado “Emprendimiento: Desarrolla una idea de negocio”, en el cual se inscribieron 103 mujeres de la comunidad.
A lo largo del desarrollo de este taller, se transfirió a las mujeres participantes herramientas dirigidas al desarrollo de sus emprendimientos, mediante la aplicación de métodos y técnicas que les permitió desarrollar su propia idea de negocio y posteriormente construir el modelo del mismo para sacar adelante sus emprendimientos. También crearon la marca, el logo, el slogan y la imagen de cada uno de sus negocios.
Las mujeres que culminaron este taller quedaron inmediatamente habilitadas para solicitar asesoría especializada con uno de nuestros mentores, para la validación y perfeccionamiento de sus ideas de negocio, y de esta manera poder llegar a solicitar un capital semilla para sacarlo adelante.
Durante este mes también se dictaron la tercera y cuarta charla sobre “Negocios que construyen país”, apoyados por el Banco de Bogotá y Quántica, las cuales habían iniciado en el mes de septiembre, en donde se trataron temas para la creación de la marca, así como la importancia de realizar alianzas para el desarrollo e implementación de los emprendimientos. Algunos de los resultados obtenidos luego de realizar este taller fueron:
- Las participantes mejoraron su planificación financiera. El 87% de las participantes aprendió a calcular el punto de equilibrio de sus negocios a raíz de los talleres de formación, hecho que les ha permitido tomar decisiones más asertivas.
- Las participantes incrementaron sus ventas en un 42,31%. El 83% de las participantes que tienen emprendimientos en curso, manifestaron que los talleres les ayudaron a incrementar sus ventas a través de la implementación del aprendizaje.
- El 68% de las participantes empezó a escuchar y analizar a sus clientes a raíz de los talleres.
- Las participantes definieron la personalidad de su marca. El 68% de las participantes aprendió a definir la personalidad de su marca a raíz de los talleres de formación.
Diciembre de 2023:
Teniendo en cuenta las festividades de fin de año, en donde muchas de las mujeres que hace parte de nuestra comunidad aprovechan para comercializar los productos y/o servicios de sus emprendimientos de una manera más masiva, en el mes de diciembre decidimos no llevar a cabo ningún taller de formación, evitando de esta manera que las mujeres no pudiesen conectarse a los mismos. No obstante, durante este mes continuamos dictando las charlas complementarias de Mindfulness y finanzas.
También aprovechamos este mes para realizar una encuesta voluntaria a las integrantes de la comunidad, la cual estuvo abierta durante 10 días, para medir el impacto que el programa está teniendo en sus vidas y a la vez obtener retroalimentación que nos permita mejorarlo cada vez más y atender las necesidades de nuestra comunidad. La encuesta fue respondida por casi 700 mujeres, obteniendo una calificación promedio de 4,3 y siendo catalogado como “muy útil” para el desarrollo de sus ideas de negocio y poder así sacar adelante sus emprendimientos.
Enero 2024:
Comenzando el año les dimos a las mujeres de nuestra comunidad un espacio de descanso para que pudieran aprovechar el tiempo con sus familias y a la vez recargarse para este nuevo año. Mientras tanto nosotros aprovechamos para hacer la planeación de los Talleres de formación que les vamos a dar en este 2024 a las mujeres, así como de las charlas complementarias que nuestros mentores y aliados nos ayudan a dictar, dejando el cronograma de formación definido hasta fin de año.
Analizamos detalladamente el resultado de la encuesta realizada en el mes de diciembre, y tuvimos en cuenta las sugerencias hechas por las mujeres para de esta manera nutrir y enriquecer el programa.
Febrero 2024:
Este mes de febrero se cumplen dos años de haber lanzado oficialmente el programa, lo cual nos ha dado mucha felicidad y satisfacción.
Durante este mes les dimos la bienvenida a las mujeres al programa mediante una charla denominada “Café con la Directora”, un espacio en el cual se le explicó a la comunidad lo que se desarrollará en este año 2024, y se pudo tener también retroalimentación de parte de ellas sobre sus expectativas, lo cual, sumado al resultado de la encuesta, nos permitirá focalizarnos de una mejor manera en las necesidades y deseos que las mujeres tienen para de esta manera poder ayudarlas a sacar adelante sus emprendimientos.
También se abrieron las inscripciones para el taller “Habilidades para emprendedoras del Siglo XXI”, el cual se llevará a cabo en el mes de marzo.
En paralelo, durante todo este periodo de tiempo continuamos dictando en forma periódica charlas abiertas complementarias de diversos temas tales como Mindfulness, finanzas y empoderamiento femenino, que dan mucha más integralidad a nuestras beneficiarias contribuyendo a su crecimiento personal. Queremos resaltar la gran acogida que tiene entre las mujeres las charlas de Mindfulness, las cuales se han convertido en una “cura para el alma” para muchas de ellas que aprovechan estos espacios para liberarse de penas y cargas que las aquejan en su día a día.
