Empower 100 nonprofits in the reconstruction of PR

The pandemic has been tough for everyone. However, despite the difficulties, we continue to move forward. This past weekend we participated in the first convention after the pandemic. The purpose of it was to recruit volunteers and start the sale of our fundraising activity. In it, the participants will receive a virtual cooking class on how to make a fideua, which is the same as a paella but instead of rice, noodles. There will be music and more. Due to the pandemic in AFC as in all non-profit organizations (NPO) we had to reinvent ourselves. Resulting, in the offering of fully online webinars and modules for the first time. In addition to the technical assistance service offered to organizations in aspects related to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), virtual office implementation, among others. With the PPP services provided, more than 40 non-profit organizations obtained in total over 2 million in aid to maintain the payroll. At the same time, the AFU internship continued, also the implementation of 7 modules and the offering of webinars according to the emerging needs of the Third Sector.
