This year has brought many challenges; however we have achieved many things and among these is:
With this new year we hope to finalize our strategic planning process, add a module about program evaluation, celebrate our 15th anniversary and above all continue improving our services in the Educational Program, Technical Assistance Program, AFU (our internship) and AFC Precheck all directed to strengthen the NPOs in Puerto Rico.

The pandemic has been tough for everyone. However, despite the difficulties, we continue to move forward. This past weekend we participated in the first convention after the pandemic. The purpose of it was to recruit volunteers and start the sale of our fundraising activity. In it, the participants will receive a virtual cooking class on how to make a fideua, which is the same as a paella but instead of rice, noodles. There will be music and more. Support us, with your contribution you allow thousands of people in Puerto Rico to receive the services they need, strengthening nonprofits in the island. Thanks, Aida.
Due to the pandemic in AFC as in all non-profit organizations (NPO) we had to reinvent ourselves. Resulting, in the offering of fully online webinars and modules for the first time. In addition to the technical assistance service offered to organizations in aspects related to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), virtual office implementation, among others. With the PPP services provided, more than 40 non-profit organizations obtained in total over 2 million in aid to maintain the payroll. At the same time, the AFU internship continued, also the implementation of 7 modules and the offering of webinars according to the emerging needs of the Third Sector.
We are currently working on a campaign so that people displaced from their jobs due to the pandemic are reintegrated into the work environment in Puerto Rico, this through pasoapasopr.com

Since the beginning of the pandemic at AFC, we have not stopped. We have moved all our services online to continue supporting non-profit organizations in Puerto Rico, who in turn support those in need. As our workshops are face-to-face, we have begun to offer affordable webinars so the essential services on the island, now more than ever, continue. At the moment we have offered 18 workshops with more than 4,000 participants, to 1,923 nonprofits, impacting more than 60 municipalities around the island. To keep providing this service we need your help.
