During this semester our internship program AFU, has succeeded in placing four accounting students in non-profit organization around the island. We have placed four students in non-profit organizations in the cities of Ponce, San Juan, Caguas, and San German. And served directly and indirectly over 5,600 people. This translates into great economic relive for the organizations, valued in around $3,400 during this time span for the administrative area. The students have worked with programs such as quickbooks and sage, financial statements, time sheets, payrolls among other things related to the field of accounting.
