Employment Readiness Program

1. Corporate Finance - GST Training & NIIT Foundation Courses

Vidya Poshak started short training programs for students in our Sirsi & Dharwad branches. The first training Called Essentials of Corporate Finance was attended by 32 students during the month July & Aug. 

Vidya Poshak got associated with NIIT Foundation to provide short computer training courses. The initial training is planned on Certificate Course on Advanced Word and Excel.

2. Residential Skill Traianing Programs

During the second quarter 3 residential bridge camps were conducted for students studying in First year and Second year degree program. 144 students attended the training program which were conducted in Davangere, Siddapur & Sagar.

The training programs were focused on English Language Improvement & Analytical skills. 

3. Susandhi Fellowship program Updates

Susandhi Fellowship training is a unique program designed to impart technical skills along with exemplary behavioral skills. This is the only program in India in which 12th standard science students are trained in high-end technology areas and cost of the full training is covered.  It is a five year program.

Batch 9 is started from September 12th onwards and 22 students were selected for the program.

Batch 8 students completed their one year training and joined for internship in the following companies. Sankalp Semiconducters, IonIdea Pvt Ltd, Vegam Solutions, Blynk Speak & LinkEz Solutions

Residential Bridge Camp Updates

During the first quarter 3 residential bridge camps were conducted for final year degree students. 174 students attended the training program which were conducted in Bangarmakki, Vijaypur & Siddapur.

The training programs were focused on Interview preparation, Resume writing, Group Discussion and Aptitude skills. Following are some letters written by the students after the camp

Susandhi Fellowship program Updates

Susandhi Fellowship training is a unique program designed to impart technical skills along with exemplary behavioral skills. Overall 74 students are supported through this program. The fifth batch students are now starting their final year BSc program. In the batch six Five trainees are undergoing Internship with Merahkee Technology Solutions a company working in software product development. Two Trainees are undergoing industrial internship with Dhiomics Analytics and currently working on Data scraping, Data processing and Web application Development.  In Batch seven Eight trainees are selected for internship with Sankalp semiconductor [VLSI] and one trainee is with Vegam Solutions [Industrial IoT].
