Dear Alhassan donors, supporters, and believers,

Thank you for donating to the Egyptian Kids on Wheels project. Your donations play a major role in changing kids’ lives. Helping kids develop a positive and healthy attitude towards their physical challenge is the first step on the road to a successful and inclusive life.

Through this project, we offer the following services for kids:

  1. A customized wheelchair that fits the injury and needs of each kid.
  2. Physical and psychological rehabilitation that aims to change the mindset of kids and their parents.
  3. Making schools and homes accessible for kids.
  4. Recreational events and awareness campaigns throughout the year that encourages networking and exchanging experiences.
  5. Sports programs in six different sports and numerous arts workshops.

In 2020 we were able to serve over 80 kids. As stated in the info-graph:

  1. 68 kids received customized wheelchairs.
  2. We made two schools accessible for kids
  3. 15 kids were enrolled in Alhassan Academy for Basketball

We’re forever proud that we’re part of these kids’ journeys. Witnessing the changes these kids and their parents go through is so precious and indescribable. Many parents, before our intervention, used to carry their kids (5+ years old) everywhere or use strollers! A decent tailor-made wheelchair is the solution for these families to function properly and shape a better future for their physically-challenged kids.

Thank you dear donors for your donations; your support is what enables us in our mission so we urge you to continue supporting our cause and stay loyal donors to our cause through subscribing to a monthly recurring donation option. That will help kids in a wheelchair in Egypt to be more confident and accomplished.
