During the last few years, Vivamos Association has been working hand in hand with GlobalGiving to raise funds through its platform. We started with enthusiasm in 2013 with the aim of finding new ways to get benefactors for our project.
In the first year we managed to collect 58% of the total collected. However, recurring donations did not have significant volume compared to the initial year (only 8%)

With deep sorrow and sadness, we have to inform our benefactors that, after 18 years of starting our work, due to the lack of economic resources, we are forced to stop the activity of the Foundation for the benefit of our beneficiaries. It was not a simple decision, but we can proudly say, we had the satisfaction of having supported 112 young people who left pleasant memories in our hearts and we know that they are well thanks to the care they received for our staff.
As of next month no more donations will be received through GlobalGiving for this project. We want to thank all of you, because thanks to your contributions we were able to serve more than 40 children in the last 5 years with this project.

Estimado amigo y benefactor
Durante los últimos años la Asociación Vivamos ha venido trabajando de la mano de GlobalGiving para recaudar fondos a través de su plataforma. Iniciamos con entusiasmo en 2013 con el objetivo de buscar nuevas formas de conseguir benefactores para nuestro proyecto.
En el primer año logramos recaudar el 58% del total recaudado. Sin embargo, las donaciones recurrentes no tuvieron un volumen que fuera significativo comparado con el año inicial (solo 8%)

Con profundo pesar y tristeza tenemos que informar a nuestros benefactores que, después de 18 años de iniciar nuestras labores, debido a la falta de recursos económicos, nos vemos obligados a parar la actividad de la Fundación por el bien de nuestros beneficiarios. No fue una decisión sencilla, pero quedamos con la satisfacción de haber apoyado a 112 jóvenes que dejaron gratos recuerdos en nuestros corazones y sabemos que ellos están bien gracias a los cuidados que recibieron por nuestro personal.
A partir del próximo mes no se recibirán más donaciones a través de GlobalGiving para este proyecto. Queremos agradecer a todos Ustedes, ya que gracias a sus aportes pudimos atender a más de 40 niños y niñas en los últimos 5 años con este proyecto .
