Education for Children with Learning Difficulties

John F. Kennedy said: "Children are the most important resource in the world and its best hope for the future."

That is why the intervention done in childhood will be the most durable and cost-effective over time. We must never save resources in social, economic, health, education, nutrition and integral support to children, precisely because of the safety of the economic and social profitability of this type of investment.

That is why, in the Vivamos Association we are committed to children to support them in building their future. We have made several campaigns with the motto #myfuture with the intention of raising awareness in our friends and benefactors that we must worry about the present of our children if we want to assure them a good future.

Since its foundation 17 years ago, we have seen more than 75 children and young people who have marked us and left a mark on our hearts. More than 30 have been adopted and we can say with pride that more than 10 young people have left and are forming part of our society as responsible and committed individuals.

The last two years of our work have been very difficult and it is true that getting here has been hard work, but the challenges also serve to make us stronger, and when we overcome them, give us a feeling of satisfaction difficult to explain.

We want to thank our staff of professionals who daily strive to respond in a timely and effective way to new challenges and trends with our young people. We know it has not been easy, because educating has never been a simple task, especially with young teenagers.

One of the key people in the process of our children and young people is Maria Ines Cadena, our Administrative Director. Maria Inés has been with us for more than 12 years and has always stood out as a leader in the educational process of our beneficiaries. We would like to thank Maria Inés for her perseverance and dedication to the Asociación Vivamos.

We also thank each and every one of our benefactors, as their donations continue to be an important aid to improve the impact on the lives of our young people. Thanks to their constant support, they have access to a better learning environment, nutrition and resources that are provided by our program.

Es por ello que la intervención que se haga en la niñez será la más duradera y rentable en el tiempo. Nunca se deben ahorrar recursos sociales, económicos, para la salud, la educación, la nutrición y el apoyo integral a la niñez, justamente por la seguridad que se tiene de la rentabilidad económica y social de este tipo de inversiones.

Por eso, en la Asociación Vivamos estamos comprometidos con los niños para apoyarlos a construir su futuro. Hemos hecho diversas campañas con el lema #mifuturo con el ánimo de hacer conciencia en nuestros amigos y benefactores de que debemos preocuparnos por el presente de nuestros niños si queremos asegurarles un buen futuro.

Los dos últimos años de nuestra labor han sido muy difíciles y es verdad que llegar hasta aquí ha supuesto un arduo trabajo, pero los retos también sirven para hacernos más fuertes, y cuando los superamos, nos dan un sentimiento de satisfacción difícilmente explicable.

Queremos agradecer a nuestro personal de profesionales que diariamente se esfuerzan por responder en forma oportuna y efectiva a los nuevos desafíos y tendencias con nuestros jóvenes.Sabemos que no ha sido fácil, porque educar nunca ha sido una tarea sencilla, especialmente con jóvenes adolescentes.

Una de las personas claves en el proceso de nuestros niños y jóvenes es Maria Inés Cadena, nuestra directora Administrativa. Maria Inés ha estado con nosotros durante más de 12 años y siempre se ha destacado por ser una mujer líder en el proceso educativo de nuestros beneficiarios. Queremos agradecer a Maria Inés por su constancia y dedicación a la Asociación Vivamos.

Igualmente agradecemos a cada uno de nuestros benefactores, ya que sus donaciones siguen siendo una importante ayuda para mejorar el impacto en la vida de nuestros jóvenes.
