Meet Emmanuel!
Meet Emmanuel!

Meets Emmanuel! He is 14-years-old. He has 2 siblings and lives in the village of Rugazi. YOU have given him not only dreams but also the values of hard work and a strong character.

Emmanuel is a determined primary 7 student at Kutamba School and strives to be helpful.

This drive makes him want to be a doctor when he grown up. His biggest desire is to treat those who need help. In order to do this, he has been working hard in school to get the best grades in the class.

Emmanuel values family and home as well. He works hard after school to collect firewood for heat and cooking and he loves to eat fish. For fun, he enjoys playing fütbol.

Think of all YOU have done for Emmanuel with your continued support of Nyaka. YOU are so amazing!

Soon you'll have the opportunity to help even more children just like Emmanuel!

Join us June 25th for a Youth Spark match day that will give 100% matching to YOUR nyaka children.

  • Matching is applied at 100% for every donation from $10 up to $1,000 per donor per project/microproject until matching funds run out.

Nyaka Secondary School with New Roof
Nyaka Secondary School with New Roof

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Do you hear that? It's the beautiful sound of a school bell in the morning.

It represents the start of learning, the priming of a future!

YOU make sure that YOUR students can have quality primary education through the Nyaka and Kutamba primary schools! And YOU have supported the students through their secondary and vocational school education at secondary schools across the region.

But now those endeavors and dreams don't have to be met by leaving home. In just a few, short months, YOUR Secondary students will be able to attend the NEW Nyaka Secondary and Vocational School that YOU are building!

That means that YOUR students can stay at home with their grandmothers and stay close to the support system that will ensure they stay healthy and learn a lot so they can go to University!

Listen for the sound of that school-bell, the chatter of students in the halls, the sound of pencils scratching against paper…and smile!

Smile because YOU deserve to. YOU are a hero. YOU’VE done it! YOU have saved their futures.

YOU have made this secondary school possible.

There are dreams and then there are realities. It takes someone really special to make those the same thing. YOU are really special. We couldn’t do this without YOU.

So, thank YOU

Global Giving and Microsoft had a Bonus Day on April 16th.

YOU raised $3,068 for your Nyaka students.

Didn't get a chance to make a donation during the last Bonus Day?

No worries! You have another chance to give next Wednesday (May 7th) at 9:00am (EST)!

Your gift will be matched 30%!

We hope you will join us today to make sure every child like Isaac can go to school!

Today at 12:00pm Microsoft will match your donations!

Isameli
Isameli

I am so amazed by YOU!

Because of YOU, 656 children are in school.

YOU are making sure that they are healthy and fed.

YOU are giving hundreds of children a future to dream for.

Children just like Isameli.

Isameli loves to play net ball with his friends and he really loves going to school. In fact, he loves school so much that he wants to be a teacher when he grows up so he can help other children!

YOU have instilled the love of learning in his heart. And, because of YOU, he will have the opportunity to share his love with generations of students to come!

Even though it will be many years before Isameli will be able to use the precious gift that YOU have given him to help other children in his community, he already feels the love and support YOU are giving him.

There are still thousands more children just like Isameli who need your help!

We hope you will join us this Wednesday at Noon for

Global Giving's Bonus Day

All donations over $10 will be matched up to $1,000!

One-time donations will be matched 50%!
