At CRUZ ROSA, we deeply value the trust placed in us through your generous support. Every dollar of your contribution has been dedicated to one essential purpose: ensuring that the women under our care receive nourishing, protein-rich meals tailored to their unique needs as cancer patients.

Your generosity has allowed us to care for the 40 women currently sheltered at CRUZ ROSA, all of whom are undergoing complex oncological treatments. For them, food is more than sustenance—it is strength, comfort, and hope during a deeply vulnerable stage of their lives.

How Your Contribution Was Used

Your donation was invested in high-quality animal protein sources such as chicken, beef, fish, eggs, and dairy products. These foods are indispensable in supporting women with compromised immune systems, helping to meet their increased nutritional demands as they face the physical challenges of cancer treatment.

Within the shelter, each resident received three balanced meals and two nutritious snacks daily, all carefully prepared in accordance with medical guidelines and adjusted to their individual conditions. This daily care ensures not only adequate caloric intake but also the dignity of eating meals that are both nourishing and thoughtfully prepared.

Extending the Impact Beyond the Shelter

Thanks to your support, our reach extended beyond the walls of CRUZ ROSA to other women and families facing similar struggles:

• 1,710 breakfasts served outside the Instituto Jalisciense de Cancerología, supporting patients waiting for medical care.

• 72 emergency food pantries delivered to women with cancer and their families in critical need.

• 23 new nutrition consultations and 22 follow-ups provided, guiding patients toward healthier eating habits despite their illness.

• 3 educational nutrition workshops conducted, empowering participants with practical tools for better daily nutrition.

• The CRUZ ROSA Nutritional Manual was finalized and distributed, offering comprehensive guidance on healthy eating and physical activity during cancer treatment.

• PARTIAL REPORT TO DONORS

At CRUZ ROSA Guadalajara, we have been working tirelessly to support women diagnosed with cancer, particularly those from rural and underserved communities. Since opening our doors in 2014, we have provided a safe space, shelter, specialized nutrition, and comprehensive emotional and psychological support for women undergoing treatment.

Given the national shortage of oncological medications since 2019, compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have intensified our efforts to ensure that no woman abandons her treatment due to lack of resources. Through our Oncological Medication Program, we have provided over 1,500 medications, benefiting more than 600 women and their families.

Thanks to partnerships with public and private institutions, and with the support of state programs, we have invested over 7 million pesos in essential treatments, significantly improving the survival rate of our patients.

We remain committed to ensuring that all women receive the complete, timely treatment they deserve, fostering hope and dignity throughout their recovery journey.
