                            Needs help on menstruation Hygienic Materials.

Parul is 15 years Adolescent girls with Disabilities. Parul is wheel chair user and she is one of the most vulnerable adolescent girls. Always they are looked down upon, neglected and deprived of most of their basic human rights. Menstruation is a biological process in women. But this is a big social taboo in our area. Parul is bound with social and family’s restrictions such as:-  not touching books, barrier doing home work and outside walking , not publicly discuss about this issue. Organization co workers are Provide the basic knowledge and aware to her menstruation hygiene .With support of Global Giving Foundation She received sanitary napkin on menstruation period and she manages her personnel hygienic. Now she is happy and grateful to Global giving foundation for support her menstruation hygienic materials and wants to continue support. Now she is enjoying fulfill life independently. Use of Sanitary napkins will help them to remain healthy. Free from infections, more confident positively. Enhanced knowledge on menstruation will enlighten them against malpractices during menstruation. Parul leading the Community awareness raising activities through rally on the International Day of disabilities dated 3rd December 2018.But Most of the Adolescent girls still use old and dirty cloth pieces during periods and these cloths dry in behind and due to lack of menstrual hygiene awareness and difficult access of sanitary pads in rural places. Adolescent girls with disabilities in the rural areas don’t management due to their habit and have no knowledge menstrual process and reproductive health.Overall health and gender empowerment would be ensured to create a healthier society.  If we are support to empower and educate Adolescent girls on Personnel hygienic in order to make them physically and emotionally capable to lead a successful life. Finally we are apologies to donors for support to her and others and we hope and believe comes to support us with adolescents protecting and empower.

                                BAPPI iaware on  her Menstruation Hygiene.

BAPPI is adolescent girl and she is 18 years old and she has a Social Problem in her community due to have her Dwarfism. When that time bappi is comes in the world was very small size. From that time community people have negative attitude towards Bappi,s family.  She lives in the rural village of Dewangonj Upazilla under Jalmalpur district in Northern Bangladesh. Bappi,s father is a Poor carpenter  and  day labor and her father is the only earning member of the family.

 Organization  is  implementing program of awareness raising and development on using sanitary napkins with our targeted 100 Disable girls in Jamalpur district of Bangladesh in order to develop their menstrual hygiene under sexual and reproductive health   Program through awareness and advocacy orientation and individually motivation and counseling. Organization  were Conducted a Orientation program  Dated 17th august 2018 on Personnel Hygiene , Sexual & reproductive health issues  with Adolescent girls for  creating positive awareness and  information disseminate in to adolescent girls. In this orientation session our Program Director and team Members are conducted and trying to understand to targeted adolescent girls on Menstruation is a biological process in women.  Some of adolescent girls and Women are still use old cloth pieces during menstruation periods and now it is a big social taboo in our area. In this connections organized group session separately and conducted individually are avoid the above mention situation for development of Adolescent disable girls.

After the orientation, BAPPI told us – “I was not aware about our monthly period and after orientation and counseling is help me and   understood protected from infections.  BAPPI is share with our program staffs member- ” she is more aware before and she is very glad to Global giving foundation for donation collection from individual donors for us. She wants to continuation support due to her poor family. We are distribution sanitary napkin into our Project Adolescent girls with Disabilities with the support of Global giving foundation and our contribution. Organization also think that If we continuation of distribution sanitary napkin in to them and this will help to Increasing use of Sanitary napkins or clean cloth pieces to free from infections, more confident positively.  So we are apologies donation for adolescent girl’s safe infections and protection.

                                               Towards safe life and protection of Adolescents Girls.

Protibandhi Shishu  Shiekkha O Paricharja samity (Proships) is   Conducted a program on the 8th June 2018 on Personnel Hygiene , Sexual & reproductive health issues at Dewangonj area office with Adolescent girls for  creating positive awareness and  information disseminate in to adolescent girls.

On the 8th June 2018 we are distribution sanitary napkin into our Project Adolescent girls with Disabilities in our working areas with the support of GlobalGiving foundation and our contribution. Our implementing Program will help to Increasing use of Sanitary napkins or clean cloth pieces to free from infections, more confident positively.” They are more aware before and very glad to GlobalGiving for donation collection for us. They want to support continuation due to their poor economical condition so we are apologies for donation   safe life and protection.

 Our Program Director and team Members are conducted and trying to understand to targeted adolescent girls on Menstruation is a biological process in women but now it is a big social taboo in our area. Some of adolescent girls and Women are still use old cloth pieces during menstruation periods. They told us – “we were not aware about our Menstruation hygiene /monthly period”. Counseling & motivational activities is help us and we are understood protected from infections.

Besides, our organization Team and Co-worker are organized group session separately and conducted individually are avoid the above mention situation for development of Adolescent disable girls. Organization activity will help to enhance access and promote use of sanitary and also enhance their knowledge about menstrual process, Sexual & reproductive health which will ultimately lead to minimization of social restrictions. For their safe life and protection we want to help with donations.

Parents Towards aware from infections of Menstruation Hygiene.

During the year orgnaization implementing program during the year awareness raising on using sanitary napkins with our targeted 100 Disable girls   in Jamalpur district of Bangladesh in order to develop their menstrual hygiene under sexual and reproductive health Program through awareness and advocacy orientation and individually motivation and counselling and support Sanitary napkin to Adolescents girl with Disabilities.

During the Period organized group Orientation program on Personnel Hygiene , Sexual & reproductive health issues at Dewangonj area office with Mother of and care givers of Adolescent girls( Intellectually disable, Hearing Impaired , Low vision, Physical handicap , Wheel chair user Girls) for creating positive awareness and information disseminate in to adolescent girls. Numbers of 30 Mother of adolescent girls and care givers are attend the orientation session.

In this orientation session our Program Director and team Members are conducted and trying to understand to targeted adolescent girls on Menstruation is a biological process in women but now it is a big social taboo in our area. Adolescent girls and women with Disabilities are bound with social and family’s restrictions are not touching books, barrier doing homework and outside walking, not publicly discuss about this issue. Adolescent girls and Women are still use old cloth pieces during periods. Intellectually and hearing impaired Disable Adolescents girls are not manage their period and they are most vulnerable. Parents of Adolescent girls are told us – “we are aware about our Menstruation hygiene /monthly period and take proper management, todays orientation and counselling is help us and we are understood protected from infections. ”

Our implementing Program will help to Increasing use of Sanitary napkins or clean cloth pieces will help them to free from infections, more confident positively. Increase knowledge on Sexual and reproductive health and also menstruation will enlighten them against malpractices during menstruation and bring a long term impact in the lives of disable adolescent girls both biologically and socially. This program carried a significant role play in the community.
