Educational institutions in Mexico are currently based only on traditional methods of learning, that is, they follow the traditional set up of face-to-face lectures in a classroom. The sudden outbreak of a deadly disease called Covid-19 caused by a Corona Virus shook our educational plans. The WHO declared it as a pandemic. This situation challenged the education system and forced educators to shift to an online mode of teaching overnight.
In our case, we had no option to shift entirely to online teaching–learning. We have discontinued in-person teaching. It is uncertain to get back to normal teaching anytime soon. As social distancing is preeminent at this stage, this will have negative effects on learning opportunities. Educational units are struggling to find options to deal with this challenging situation.
This is a situation that demands humanity and unity. There is an urgent need to protect and save our students.
Several arguments are associated with e-learning. Accessibility, affordability, flexibility, learning pedagogy, life-long learning, and policy are some of the arguments related to online pedagogy.
In Mexico are many difficults to get an online education, starting for lack of equipments, internet signal and money to pay for that services.
We are facing two type crisis: one Sanitary and other Economic. We need two solutions.
COVID-19 is an historic event of unparalleled proportions that have direct impact on nearly every life. With no vaccine and no cure, the pandemic has killed people in every mexican state. The necessary isolation it imposes has robbed the bereaved of proper goodbyes and the comfort of mourning rituals.
Since march, we have only free on line activities.Many people in Mexico City is talking about heartbreak, divorce, struggles over identity and belonging, and questions of sex, sexism, friendship and family.
We tried to support all of them, but we have only one telephone line and only have twenty four hours per day. Children and its parents are our priority.
By the way, the school program is finishing in june month.

We Continue working with Isaac, whi is the Student selected for receiving emotional psychological therapies, support with additional classes in order to increase his school performance, frecuent pedagogic evaluations.
In the meanwhile, we organize some workshops about ADHD charateristics for training teachers, parents and students. Peoples with ADHD often lack focus, wander off task, talk excessively, fidget and act impulsively, also has academic difficulties.
We started in October the attention to the selected child, we wanted to cover a group of 20 students, but it was not possible, because we only obtained financial resources for only one child. The selected child is named Isaac, he is a fourth grade student, he is a very intelligent child, who is ADHD and Asperger. The sequence of attention to Isaac, is first to make a pedagogical evaluation to know the state in which he begins his treatment, second, to provide all the Psychological and Psychiatric support that the child could request. As there is progress we will be showing in this medium
Starting next september will be working with one selected kid (Isaac) in his psychological therapy, pedagogical attention, paido-psychiatric evaluation and extracurricular classes in order to provide him with a personal learning structure. This is kind of wear him with a custom suit. Along next school year we are nearly following his school performance. We will be in contact with his family, teacher and director .
This child that was selected is part of a group of 20 students with low school performance due to Attention Deficit Disorder -ADHD-, Isaac is 9 years old, is an smart child that has to acquiere new habits, reinforce good ways to learn. His parents has to interrup his clinical attention because they do not have enough money for it. His parents are working but their earnings are low.
This student will be part of study case about ADHD and the way that Descubriendo al Ser Através del Conocimiento A.C. is attending it.
