As previously reported, Cycle for Survival’s 2015 season was the most successful to date – with more than $25 million raised, and we couldn't have done it without your help! The fundraising season only wrapped up in April; but we’re proud to report that 100% of that $25 million is already at work in Memorial Sloan Kettering’s research labs to fuel transformative progress in the treatment of rare cancers.
Over the summer, MSK's senior leadership carried out a rigorous evaluation process to determine the most promising rare cancer projects and initiatives to receive Cycle for Survival funding. In addition to the allocations for very specific rare cancer research projects, donations also support the advancement of comprehensive research initiaives to change the way that cancer is both diagnosed and treated. Please see the attached for a visual summary of our 2015 Funding Allocations.
Excitingly, 2016 marks our tenth year of rides, and Cycle for Survival has now raised more than $75 million. Registration for our 2016 events is open, and we're thrilled to be hosting rides in 15 cities across the country this February and March, unting more than 25,000 people in the ongoing fight to beat rare cancers. Thanks so much to all of you and to TripAdvisor for being a part of this important movement. Until the battle is won...
