The Perfect Cooking time for a suculent dish.
The Culinary School students are blooming and have what it takes to change culinary history in El Salvador.
Thanks to the support of all donors, we are able to take culinary arts in El Salvador to a different level through students that needed this one chance to change their lifes and their families.
Every time more students are joining restaurants, hotels, coffee shops and food production industries, they are raising the bar onto how other employees are measured, the perfect cooking time of our students is showing great results.
The growing of the program makes us dream with brighter futures for more people, we are attempting to graduate 100 or more students per year and this can only be possible thanks to all the donors getting involved.
We have incorporated monthly exams, pshycological support, scholarship document signing and close follow up to each students in order to guarantee the success of all participantes.
Join us in this exciting culinary revolution!
We just began our fourth generation of students specializing in National and International food, we are implementing new pilars to the program like pshychological support and english classes to enhance the students learning experience.
Professionals are being prepared and now our goal was to set the propper opportunities for this students to achieve their goals, we are making important alliances that will generate better job opportunities and our students will have priority when entering an application process.
Meanwhile, we are seeing that our students are incorporating the culinary world, excelling and participating at a high level. We are looking for sponsorship of scholarships to have a permanent impact on Salvadoran economy through people who are willing to learn and work for a better future.
The culinary school program reaches its first year!
It has been a rollercoaster of emotions and efforts to have a successfull first year, the school is showing great results as we are having a high hiring rate of our students. To date we have a success rate of 83% meaning that at least 61 out of our first 73 students gratuated are currently working and having opportunities that change their lifes and their families.
We continue working hard to expand the radius of impact we are having in El Salvador, we are currently entering 7 new locations in the country that will be able to have benefited Salvadorans that are in limited situations; El Zonte, San Vicente, San Juan Opico, Huizucar, Sacacoyo, Apaneca and Caluco are the lucky areas that get to reffer students for the next generations.
We look forward to extending our maximum capacity of students and are currently working in alliances to include english classes, psychological support, budgeting and temporary visas placement. All this efforts to make a more robust and impactfull program.
Thank you to all that have supported our efforts and have sponsored students, enabling them to create their own and brighter future.

We met Kevin on a humanitarian mission to El Salvador in 2020, and he was only 16. His mother had died and left him with 3 siblings to support. It was great to visit Gente Aydando Gente's headquarters and see Kevin in the cooking class.
We were able to fund Kevin with your generous donations and now we are going for 10 more students with the launch of a Peer to Peer fundraising program That will enable all of you to get even more involved.
16 students have already graduated and it has changed their lives to have a skill to get jobs in local restaurants
Everybody that has given anything to make this happen has provided an opportunity that only a few could have considered in their lifetime. An 85% of participants in the program are part of the informal sector where they used to sell things without any type of job and income security.
They are now going to be able to provide for their families in a way they had never imagined. Thank you for making their future and their families future a better one.
