The first generation of students for this 2024, is on its way!
We have a total of 20 students from different parts of the country, all of them with a passion and dream of becoming a chef!
This year, we are implementing different sub projects to enhance our students experience and optimize resources. We are working on implementing the following:
1. A Vegetable Patch, so that students can grow vegetables and plants that will be used in their classes; this will allow us also to teach students how to replicate this in their homes and at the same time, reduce costs
2. End of Year Project, is an innitiative so that students in order to graduate have to present a project that makes them put into practice all of the knowledge that has been teached, for example: Inventory, Developing of recipes, Cost Analyzis, Distribution Channels, Marketing. The best project will receive our support in the search for ways to incorporate their project in local stores and markets.
3. Food Manipulation Degree, we are making sure students can graduate with the propper management of food; this makes them a lot more attactive for restaurants and hotels during their hiring process.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
