Hard work Pays Off!
We are really excited to let you know that we continue with big results regarding our culinary program, we have 18 students in their practice hours in restaurants and hotels through the month of August!
The students, soon will be fully graduated, but not only that; to add to that excitement already 10 of the students have been offered formal jobs!
This means that for this generation we already have a 56% success rate, of course we are aiming higher, so we will continue the lookout for opportunities for the remaining 8 students.
I would also love to stand out one case; Bella, she is one of our most outstanding students that lives in the area of Apaneca, in the restaurant she is completing her practice hours, she has even proposed new dishes and desserts such as the Corn Cheesecake! The restaurant "Albania" is thrilled to have her! Before the program she would sell $20.00 a week with her husband baking bread and selling it in their community, the restaurant now will pay her 5 times what she was earning!
