Newest Rescues & More!

Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary celebrated our 20th Anniversary in January! Yes 20 years of saving little souls! In those two decades we have saved over 5000 small and unusual pets' lives!

We are pretty proud of our accomplishements over these many years!

We've had many standout memories too including:

Ray the 31/2 foot PET alligator that we took in and then relocated to a sanctuary in Florida

the Ratastrophe where we were supposed to take in 20 rats, but there were actually 60 and by the time they got done having babies there were over 100!

Hamstergeddon where we took in a couple dozen hamsters but ended up with over 80 because so many were pregnant

Many animals that were literally thown away in the trash- some still in their cages including Oscar the rabbit, Bravehog the hedgehog and Sarge the ratty found by a police seargant.

We also recently lost our longest residing animals- Mrs. Whiskers the rabbit- she passed away at nearly 17 years old- she had been here since she was 6 months old because she attacked her owners and their children. Almost 17 is really old for a rabbit- she had quite a life here- meeting so many new bunnies!

Our most recent rescues are 4 older lady guinea piggies - Suki, Toph, Valentine and Petra. It's funny Valentine and Suki look almost exactly alike but Suki is twice as big. They remind us of the movie Twins.

YOUR support makes all this possible! Thank you so very very much!
