Since our last report we took in more critters for sanctuary here at Critter Camp.
We only accept elderly, chronically ill and/or highly aggressive small and unusual pets to stay here for the rest of their lives. Some come from owners moving out of the country or across the country, some come from shleters who cannot adopt them out.
Thanks to support of wonderful people like YOU we can continue to fill this very unique specific niche in the animal rescue world.
Since our last report we took in elder guinea piggies Lily, Hazel, Tamarin ( she has a little white crest just like a tamrin monkey!), Kinkajou (all brown like a kinakjou,) Mr.Darcy - a stunning texel neutered male who is in the lady colony with his bonded mate Edna who is our very first 'skinny pig' - hairless guinea pig! They have all settled in to our colony and are doing great!
Two elder ratties joined us as well- Sweeite & Honey
Our elderly fennec fox Popeye had his annual vet visit with shots and blood work. Amazingly he is still very healthy for his age. Popeye is the 12th fennec fox we have taken in and is the healthiest one we've ever had. He is a feisty little guy who likes to bite ankles- literally.
We are so very grateful for all of your support! Please consider donating any amount you can to help us cover the ongoing medical and food and upkeep costs we face daily. Thank you!
