Welcome Sweetie Bird, Barnaby & More!

Meet newest rescues at Critter Camp:

Elder guinea piggies Hashbrown, Lizzie, Ruth & Rosa

And medically fragile guinea piggy Barnaby. Barnaby was rescued from a pet store where he was going to be killed because he had breathing issues. His rescuers tried to help him but his issues were more complex than they were able to handle, so he came here to Critter Camp. So far we have tried more and different meds and will be sending out cultures this week to determine if there is a stubborn bacteria or if he has allergies or asthma, which are possible but rare. In any case he gets his daily nebulizer treatments and lots of loving care here at the sanctuary.

Sweetie Bird the cockatiel came to us when his elderly owner became ill and unable to live on his own, and the family could not find anyone else to take him in. He's getting used to his new surroundings and meeting his new birdie friends in out big open aviary.

We've posted several new videos on our Youtube channel too  https://www.youtube.com/crittercampmom

Costs of supplies, vet care & utilities continue to rise and we truly appreciate all of your support in our mission to care for the unadoptable old, sick and aggressive small pets that have nowhere else to go.

Thank you!
