In our last quarterly update, we reported on the cottage that Cherish Others has been constructing for use by girls who need assistance, by volunteers, and by donors who may want to visit and see first hand the issues in the Masaai community.
Since then, Cherish Others has been focused on putting the finishing touches on the cottage. This has included completion of plastering, installation of electricity, and installation of a water tank. With this work, the cottage is now fully functional.
This work has expanded the Masaai community’s already extensive awareness of the work that Cherish Others does to combat female genital mutilation, to encourage the education of girls, and to discourage early marriage.
Cherish Others has continued to reach out to community leaders, parents, and potentially vulnerable girls.
Your donations help make this work possible. We tremendously appreciate your support.
