Alumnas de oboe/Oboe students

By Laura Robledo | Comunicacion

ENGLISH

Rodolfo is the oboe teacher in the MUVI Pozos Orchestra, this orchestra has more than 150 children and young people enrolled and, this year, we aim to reach 250.
In order to sponsor all the children in the orchestra, we usually organize dinners, meetings or other events to show a little of the work we do. We usually take 2 or 3 children to the events to play a piece and talk about their experience in MUVI.
In the last presentations we have had, we have been accompanied by 3 students of maestro Rodolfo, who are no more than 10 years old and fell in love with their instrument since the beginning of the orchestra, 2 years ago.
The girls are very close friends and enjoy playing together and talk about how MUVI has changed their daily lives: from doing their school homework early; going to classes Monday through Friday from 4 to 8 pm; having life skills sessions, etc. They enjoy playing together.
They, in their words, enjoy and love music, assuring that it has opened doors they never thought they would know.
