Dear Supporters  of Casa Cuna La Paz,

Our girls and boys are getting ready for another busy school year. After a wonderful summer season, when they had more time for playing and for being children, it is now time again to focus on learning within a more formal environment.

With help from all of you, we provide them with tools that will help them navigate a future that is all but predictable, as we all have come to find out. Our Supporters, from Mexico and from abroad, are vital for providing our girls and boys daily nutritious meals, basic health care, and schools supplies that will help them earn a solid education that will surely benefit them in the future. Equally important, it benefits all of us for having better members of our society.

Casa Cuna La Paz accompanies our children in perhaps the most important period of time: their early childhood. In the relatively short time they are under our care, we strive to give them tools to make them successful later in life: developing their ability to conquer new situations and experiences. Thanks to your help, we support each of our girls and boys build their unique talents and abilities.

We are very proud and grateful of having you as essential partners of our work. We could not do it without your help. For that, on behalf of the girls and boys of Casa Cuna La Paz, we give you our most sincere "Muchas Gracias!".

Dear Friends of Casa Cuna La Paz,

What a difference a year makes!  As the pandemic starts to subside and its effect on our children's lives becomes a memory that we are all eager to forget, Casa Cuna has started to receive many more children whose parents are returning to work.  Economic hardship that lingers from the pandemic has forced many more family members into the workforce, including older siblings and grandparents. As a result, more children are being brought to Casa Cuna seeking quality care that we are able to provide thanks to our supporters like you.

Your help is essential for many families that look forward to the love, food, education and basic health care that Casa Cuna La Paz can offer. Mexico's economy is not immune to global forces: inflation and economic pressure continue to hurt those in need the most. Thus, our services are in high demand.  Thanks to you, we are able to help 38 children on an ongoing basis. As new children join Casa Cuna, we offer them a health checkup, and give them clothes and shoes if needed. All our children receive school materials, plus nutritious meals before and after school.  The foundation that you help us build for them will yield results for many years to come. By covering their most basic needs, we enable them to stay in school, giving them new opportunities in the future.

Our young ones fill Casa Cuna La Paz with optimism and laughter.  Their energy makes us confident that tomorrow will be a better day.  We thank you for your continuing support.  On behalf of our girls and boys:  Muchas gracias!

Dear Friends of Casa Cuna La Paz,

What an eventful year! The Covid storm has proven to be stronger than most of us had expected. Vulnerable families, some of whom were already living in precarious conditions, have suffered the most because their safety net did not hold as long as the pandemic. Amid this situation, there is hope. Our children's optimism has proven to be as resilient as ever. Seeing their faces, full of happiness, ahd hearing their laughter all day, every day, fuels our determination to continue our mission for social justice.

The need for services that Casa Cuna La Paz offers, has increased greatly this year. Our children, from newborns to 6-year olds, come mostly from single-mother families and from families where grandparents are primary caregivers. Your help has made a significant impact in the lives of the children and their families. Providing a social network that values them and takes care of them, by fulfilling such basic needs as nutitious food, solid education, health care, and a safe environment, is vital to their well-being and helps them cope with the stress of our current situation.

Our mission supported by people like you, who share our concern for the well-being of children in vulnerable families. We are grateful for the gifts that you have made for them this year. On behalf of the children in Casa Cuna La Paz, we sincerely thank you, and wish you a blessed Holiday Season. They share with you their optimism and confidence on a better tomorrow, looking forward to the days when we will all look back and will be thankful for having had each other in times of unprecedented challenges.

Muchas gracias!

Dear Friends of Casa Cuna La Paz,

Warmest greetings from our children and staff.  It brings joy to our hearts that a new school year is about to begin, as we welcome many new little children and their families for another year of education. Amid the uncertainty of recent times, excitement, laughter and joy are heard louder than ever.

The pandemic has disproportionately affected the poorest and most vulnerable of the world, resulting in increased demand for our services.  Supporters like you have risen to the challenge, keeping our children in your thoughts and, with your donations, helping us satisfy basic needs such as clothing, food and medical service. For our little ones, from new borns to 6 year olds, this gives them a sense of normalcy in uncertain times.  We are so grateful for your continuing support of our work.

This school year brings many challenges but also many opportunities for Casa Cuna, where we strive to find new and effective ways to help our children. We believe education, a human right, is key to enable them become compassionate humans and self-dependent adults.  Your support for our work helps build a strong foundation, helping them see this challenging world with optimism and confidence.

On behalf of our niñas y niños in Casa Cuna La Paz:  Muchas, muchas gracias!

Dear Friends of Casa Cuna La Paz,

Warm greetings from all children under our care here at Casa Cuna.  The unfavorable circumstances that the Pandemic has brought upon all of us has, at the same time, given us renewed focus on our mission of caring for the little ones who don't understand the hardships our world is facing.

Our mission relies on the support of individuals like you, who recognize the importance of looking after both the physical and emotional welfare of our children. Your support allows us to dream together in our mission of caring for vulnerable children. Our work is to ensure the healthy future of all girls and boys at Casa Cuna La Paz, helping families help themselves, enabling them with the tools so that they can provide for themselves tomorrow.

With your support, we have been able to share food, improve their health care and better access to education. At the same time, through your generous support, they have been able to see another face of our world, where generous people like you, are helping them grow into adults who will have an optimistic view of the world. Your support make them walk with great confidence and joy during these difficult times.

Our children and staff sincerely hope that all of you, your families and friends are well.  We all have you in our thoughts every day, and give you thanks for showing our children that our world is indeed a wonderful place to live.

Sincerely,

Maria Inocencia Pichardo V.

Director
