Casa Cuna La Paz - Help Children in Need

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thanks to your continued generosity, our children have enjoyed safety, nourishment, and joyful learning opportunities during a season of both challenges and celebrations. Recent weeks brought heavy rainfall to our region, making it necessary to purchase additional food and supplies. Because of your donations, we were able to buy these essentials in advance, ensuring our children remained well-fed despite the weather. We also transformed this moment into a valuable learning experience, teaching the children about weather patterns, nature, and how to manage resources wisely—knowledge that will help them prepare for the years ahead.

We are also overjoyed to share a heartwarming milestone from our community. One of our young boys has been welcomed into a loving family who will continue to provide the care and affection he received with us over the past year. This wonderful transition reminds us of the profound impact your support makes possible—creating stability, hope, and brighter futures for the children in our care.

As the year draws to a close, we are preparing a series of festive and educational activities. The children recently learned about the cultural traditions of the Day of the Dead, and with your help we will continue to nourish both their bodies and minds. Your contributions will allow us to serve nutritious meals, accompanied in special occasions by hot chocolate, during this season of celebrations. Looking ahead to Christmas, the children are excited to put their creativity to work by crafting colorful piñatas from recycled materials—an activity that encourages imagination, sustainability, and joy.
