Dear Supporters  of Casa Cuna La Paz,

Our girls and boys are getting ready for another busy school year. After a wonderful summer season, when they had more time for playing and for being children, it is now time again to focus on learning within a more formal environment.

With help from all of you, we provide them with tools that will help them navigate a future that is all but predictable, as we all have come to find out. Our Supporters, from Mexico and from abroad, are vital for providing our girls and boys daily nutritious meals, basic health care, and schools supplies that will help them earn a solid education that will surely benefit them in the future. Equally important, it benefits all of us for having better members of our society.

Casa Cuna La Paz accompanies our children in perhaps the most important period of time: their early childhood. In the relatively short time they are under our care, we strive to give them tools to make them successful later in life: developing their ability to conquer new situations and experiences. Thanks to your help, we support each of our girls and boys build their unique talents and abilities.

What a difference a year makes!  As the pandemic starts to subside and its effect on our children's lives becomes a memory that we are all eager to forget, Casa Cuna has started to receive many more children whose parents are returning to work.  Economic hardship that lingers from the pandemic has forced many more family members into the workforce, including older siblings and grandparents. As a result, more children are being brought to Casa Cuna seeking quality care that we are able to provide thanks to our supporters like you.

Your help is essential for many families that look forward to the love, food, education and basic health care that Casa Cuna La Paz can offer. Mexico's economy is not immune to global forces: inflation and economic pressure continue to hurt those in need the most. Thus, our services are in high demand.  Thanks to you, we are able to help 38 children on an ongoing basis. As new children join Casa Cuna, we offer them a health checkup, and give them clothes and shoes if needed. All our children receive school materials, plus nutritious meals before and after school.  The foundation that you help us build for them will yield results for many years to come. By covering their most basic needs, we enable them to stay in school, giving them new opportunities in the future.
