Quarterly Progress Report November 2018 to January 2019
Thanks to all our donors who supported and encouraged us to continue Care and School Education of Street Children Project in Pune city. Foundation has conducted following activities from November 2018 to January 2019 for these children :
November 2018
12th November – Sweet distributed to children in all locations for Diwali festival .
17th November – Lions Clubs organized get together of children to celebrate Diwali festival. 70 street children participated and performed group dance.
18th & 25th November – Health check up of 450 children from Hadapsar area was done. General health check up and Hb check up was done.
December 2018
2nd December – 200 children were given school bags, blankets, sweaters, hygiene etc. in a function arranged at foundation’s Destitute Rehabilitation Centre, Bhilarewadi, Katraj, Pune.
Personnel from UBS visited foundation’s Destitute Rehabilitation Centre and given guidance to 50 street children in a function.
10th December – Health check up of 200 children from Phulenagar area was arranged and later they were given blankets.
13th December – Employees of Hasbro company visited Destitute Rehabilitation Centre and arranged programme for street children in which they arranged various games and prepared Pav Bhaji for the children.
January 2019
3rd January – 200 children from Hadapsar children were given blankets and hygiene material.
6th January – 600 children from 5 areas were given blankets and hygiene material.
8th November – 60 children from Range Hills, Khadki were given shoes.
19th January – 15 children were encouraged to take part in Interschool Sports Competition arranged by Cantonment Board of Khadki. They were given training for this. 12 children received either 1st or 2nd medals.
23rd January – Distribution of various materials to 100 children from Hignemala, Hadapsar by Mr. Rohit Pawar.
26th January – Children from all the locations were given information about Republic Day and India’s National Flag was hoisted.
