For the 5th consecutive year, CNVLD wheelchair athletes excelled on the course taking the top 3 places at the annual Siem Reap Half Marathon.
With the course winding its way through the World heritage Angkor Wat Temple site, Cambodia’s leading wheelchair racer Van Vun took Gold in 1st place (as expected) followed by Chhuon Nico's Silver in 2nd place and Ek Nhansamoth taking the Bronze medal in 3rd place.The CNVLD wheelchair athletes are now very close to reaching Paralympic qualifying times for the first time as a result of years of committed and highly disciplined daily training and the CNVLD atheles will particpate in regional games in 2013 + 14 as part of the Paralympic qualification process: Go Cambodia !
