#Busting Myths of Entrepreneurship in Mexico

We are pleased to share that, thanks to this alliance, 27 women entrepreneurs were able to successfully access and complete the ReEmprende Digital program, strengthening key skills to grow their businesses in the digital era.

The project #BustingMythsOfEntrepreneurshipInMexico, carried out in strategic collaboration with our local partner Misión Doña Margarita A.C., offered comprehensive training to strengthen their productive projects. This included online sales strategies, the creation of digital stores, and essential digital management tools. Thanks to your donation, this alliance not only amplifies the impact achieved but also brings education and technology closer to communities often left behind due to informality and gender gaps.

Entrepreneurship has become a powerful path of hope and progress, giving these women the ability to generate dignified income and improve their quality of life. To build on this success, we are developing new alliances to bring #BustingMythsOfEntrepreneurshipInMexico to more communities across the country.  Thank you for the trust and generous support you've shown for this project. Through your contributions via GlobalGiving, along with the continued backing of other Fundación ProEmpleo donors, 33 individuals were able to join the ReEmprende Digital program, gaining essential skills to strengthen and grow their businesses in today’s digital world.

 Our initiative, #BustingMythsOfEntrepreneurshipInMexico, offered comprehensive training and personalized mentorship, laying the groundwork for meaningful digital transformation. We’re proud to share that 73% of the participants were women aged 26 to 57, who now have the tools and confidence to scale their businesses and shape their futures with greater independence.

 These entrepreneurs face deep-rooted challenges: wage gaps, the burden of unpaid labor, and precarious work conditions. During this reality, entrepreneurship becomes a true path of hope, enabling dignified income, personal empowerment, and an improved quality of life for themselves and their families.

 Your support makes you a vital force in the movement to reduce gender inequalities and build more resilient, equitable communities. Each donation, every show of solidarity, is more than an act of kindness, it’s a commitment to real change and to futures transformed.
