Hello, everyone.

Today, we would like to tell you our recent activities in Miyagi.

“Stacation” which means combination of “study” and “vacation” has held at Active Life Lab in Miyagi from July 28th to August 1st. Stacation program has been held five times so far, and this was the 6th time holding the program.

In the program, participants learn about environmental problems, regional revitalization, and so on through several activities and spend vacation together. Every morning they start the day with cleaning up the beach located near YADO; the facility participants stay. They spend each day with different activities such as trying stand-up paddle surfing(SUP), hunting, and fishing. Also, they have a chance to hear some stories about the East Japan Great Earthquake Disaster from people living there.

We believe this will be a great opportunity for them to learn the beautiful way of life and living with nature, and the experience will be passed on to the next generation.

Thank you for your support. Take care.
