We have an announcement to you. Thanks to your donation and kind support, we did open the composite facilities “Long Beach House” as a symbol for revival in Ishinomaki-city, Miyagi-prefecture on 14th March 2015. We really appreciate your continuous support since the start of construction till the opening day.
This project carried out with the aim that “Long Beach House” is a symbol for a recovery from the big earthquake and Tsunami. Now, construction has finished so we are planning various programs which Miyagi people can exchange with people who are not from Miyagi. From now on, we manage the facility for the purpose of mental care for the people who suffered from the disaster centering on “connection with people”.We also hope making use of our facility leads to the reconstruction of the suffered local community.
With this in our mind, we decided to move our project to the next stage.Planning and holding various programs is necessary to accomplish our goal , “connecting people”. However, because of shortage of funds, these programs may have limitations in aspects of circularity and frequency, or there may be a risk that only small events can be held.
So we launched a new project on globalgiving for the new purpose.
