Blossom Dayspringhome Report: -

" I LIKE WHEN YOU SMILE BUT I LOVE WHEN I AM THE REASON BEHIND IT"   Everyone at Dayspring Home took a truly amazing trip. We loaded into buses and drove down to Rameswaram - one of India's holiest places.

Rameswaram is famous not only because of its religious significance, but also geographically: it is located on a land bridge that extends from India.

On clear, sunny days, you can see all the way to that country!

We were very lucky, and the weather was beautiful for our trip. The children all had a wonderful time playing on the beach and even took a dip in the sea.

After spending some time on the beach, we drove to another very important site in Rameswaram: the memorial of India's ex-president, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul-Kalam. In just one day, the children got to have fun on the beach and also learn about India's history. What an experience.

We drove back to Dayspring Home that night - it was no surprise that all the children fell asleep on the busride home.

Moringa Leaves in Dayspringhome:-

We have lot of Moringa trees (Drumstick tree} in our Dayspring farm

We use it frequently in our Food Menu.  This spinach has lot of Iron, Vitamins and Minerals.  It is very useful for Women, hence we use it regularly for our Dayspringhome girls because some of them are Aneamic.

Visit to Local Temple Festival and the Exhibition: -

Most of them are now on holidays and have been able to go back to see their families for a few days, or even weeks. They are enjoying some free time well deserved after a long year of study. They are dedicating their days to many activities: taking care of the animals, collective activities, learning... They are having a lot of fun!

The day after, the 11th of April, Mercy, the director of Blossom Trust, and Raja the manager of Dayspring, took the girls to the Pongal festival in Virudhunagar. They had a wonderful time, going for rides and eating lots of candy floss! in the Exhibition. It was a very rich three days with a lot of festivities across the town.
