Dearest Friends and Supporters,
We at Blossom Trust continue to thank you for your continued support that allows us to accomplish great improvement in the daily life for our children!
The availability of power at Dayspring Home has always been a challenge since it is located in a remote village called Chittor. Thanks to your help, we were able to have the long-awaited solar panels installed at the beginning of May 2023!
The twenty children who live at Dayspring Home benefit hugely from the implementation of the solar panel and battery system. Indeed, the constant power supply helps to improve their living conditions and educational opportunities. As the solar panel is a sustainable, long lasting source of energy, it is not just the current children of Dayspring who benefit, but many more who will come to live in the home for years to come.
The electricity generated by the solar panels will also be used to pump water from the well in the morning so that the children can easily get water for the morning bath!
Work on renovating the old kitchen is about to begin; the past few months have been devoted more to installing solar panels. Meanwhile, at the end of May there was a storm and the trees have fallen so efforts had been put to manage the situation. Fortunately, the children are fine and there was no damage. We hope to start the renovation works as soon as possible.
Moreover, schools are re-opening after summer vacation, and the children are getting ready! Also, we expect new children coming to DaySpring Home.
We cannot wait to share updates on our progress in the coming months that without your support would not be possible. All the children at Dayspring and the team at Blossom would like to thank you for your great generosity.
With Best Wishes and Sincerest Gratitude,
Mercy Annapoorani,
