Dearest Friends,
It’s the beginning of a new school year for the girls of Dayspring! They made the most of the summer. Some got back to their families, some enjoyed tending to their beautiful fruit trees (guava, amla, coconut, indian blueberry trees…) and playing outside with their dogs.
They got to celebrate a lot these last few months, with Independence day on August 15th, Hindu festivals like Krishna Janmashtami on August 26th and Ganesh Chathurthi on September 7th. These festivals celebrate the birth of both these divinities, but some girls also got to celebrate their birthdays!
There are little kitties at Dayspring now! The girls feed them and pet the whole family after lunch.
And on September 13th, the girls celebrated the wedding anniversary of the Blossom’s director with Blossom Trust’s staff. For a lot of them, it was the occasion to try their first burger!
We thank you once again for your tremendous support to children which help us take care of them and help them reach new opportunities!
Best Wishes,
Blossom Team
