Summary

Dayspring Children's Home provides refuge to children between 6 and 18, affected or infected with HIV/AIDS. The children we care for are vulnerable, coming from severe poverty, parental death or social stigma. Dayspring Home provides ongoing medical care, nutritional support, safety and security, as well as supporting school and college education for the children in our care. With your help we can begin to combat the poverty cycle and provide these children with prospects for their futures.

Challenge

In the state of Tamil Nadu in India many children face extreme hardship. Some have lost parents to HIV/AIDS or TB, while others are rejected due to stigma. Poverty prevents families from meeting basic needs, leaving children deprived, isolated, and vulnerable. They often lack care, education, and opportunities to grow, facing neglect and social exclusion. Today, Dayspring Home is a safe haven for 25 vulnerable girls, providing them with care, support, and opportunities to thrive.

Solution

Dayspring Home has the infrastructure and experience to provide holistic care for children. With the right infrastructure and experience, Dayspring Home is able to offer holistic care that nurtures every child. With your financial generosity, we can continue to provide essential support, ensure every child finishes school, and give them the security and affection they deserve. Together we can give vulnerable children the opportunity for a brighter future!

Long-Term Impact

Since its establishment in 2004, Dayspring Home has supported, cared for, and guided children throughout their schooling, ensuring they receive a quality education and the opportunity for a brighter future. We are proud that many children have now grown up, graduated from high school and attend college or university. With continued support at Dayspring Home, we ensure children a brighter future-free from stigma, with access to education, job opportunities, and the path to economic independence.
