In the rural community of Los Pérez, Tucumán Province, Argentina, we conducted a financial education workshop that combined practical knowledge of personal finance with learning innovative tools related to decentralized technologies and Web3. This approach aims to empower young people by giving them access to the opportunities offered by the digital era, opening new doors to their personal and community development.
Los Pérez is a locality characterized by its geographic isolation and lack of access to the internet and technology. In this context, ACDI collaborates with Laura, our territorial promoter, to develop activities and training sessions that would otherwise be inaccessible to the community.
Thanks to the installation of a connectivity center, we have created an inclusive space for meeting and learning. This center not only helps overcome geographic barriers but also connects the community with a world of opportunities, transforming their reality and expanding the horizon of possibilities for people of all ages.
The financial education cycle for young people was designed to go beyond traditional personal finance management. Participants were introduced to the Web3 ecosystem and blockchain technology, learning how to value and enhance their community, environment, and their own productions. This approach not only promotes digital literacy but also the use of innovative technologies as tools to build a more sustainable and connected future.
During the workshops, young people explored practical applications of these technologies in their daily lives. They discovered new ways to manage their resources, develop projects, and create opportunities for their ventures. Each session was an invitation to imagine and plan for a future with greater possibilities, supported by concrete tools that strengthen their ability to transform their reality.
Through these initiatives, we continue to break down barriers and open doors to a brighter future for the youth of Los Pérez. This is just the beginning of a transformation driven by education, technology, and connection with the world.
