Summary

Lack of financial education is a contributing factor in hindering people's prosperity. The basic elements of finance such as saving, investing, budgeting and credit seem totally inaccessible to vulnerable populations. This project perceives financial education as a resource that can be available to everyone and that provides tools to improve quality of life and the possibility of developing behaviors that allow people to have a healthy relationship with money and improve personal well-being.

Challenge

The basic elements of finance such as savings, investment, budgeting and credit seem totally inaccessible to a citizen of vulnerable communities as it is believed that investments are for those people who manage large amounts of money: saving money is a difficult goal. to achieve when the money that is handled is barely enough to live; budgets look like complicated math that takes time and energy; and credits often become dangerous tools for finances if they are not handled properly.

Solution

Knowing about the management of personal finances can help people build future wealth by properly managing the income they have and effectively controlling the necessary expenses. This project will form a training center for young people and entrepreneurs in the town of La Madrid, Tucuman, with internet access so that they receive training and continuous advice on financial education, bringing concrete tools that allow the population to improve the management of personal finances in daily life.

Long-Term Impact

It seeks to promote financial attitudes in recipients that allow them to improve money management, be proactive, develop negotiation skills and acquire savings habits, elements that are essential to put an end to the vicious circles that keep the most vulnerable families immersed in poverty. In this way, work will be done in training instances, promoting quality educational spaces thought and designed exclusively to facilitate the apprehension of concepts and themes in the learning process.
