Build a Library for Children near Khe Sanh
 
The library constructed at the Khe Sanh Primary School is benefiting elementary students of this rural mountainous area in western Quang Tri Province. Hundreds of disadvantaged ethnic minority children now have access to books and computers. Mobile library outreach programs are being developed to extend learning opportunities to 635 students at schools located in the Thanh commune of Huong Hoa District southwest of Khe Sanh near the Laos border. project reportread updates from the field
Saving Babies in Southeast Asia
 
Every year, 1 million babies die from asphyxia right after birth. We want to help end infant mortality by training midwives and birth attendants how to take action within 1 minute of birth. "The Golden Minute" taught by our "Helping Babies Breathe" program will identify how to save babies lives, stimulate breathing and help lower infant mortality across South East Asia. Restore Eye Sight to 300 in Myanmar (Burma)
 
This September 2016 week-long Myanmar eye-care mission will perform at least 300 cataract surgeries and train local ophthalmologists on international standard cataract surgical procedures. The local community requested this mission donating food and lodging; Int'l doctors donate time, skill and airfare; US pharmaceutical companies donate medical supplies; Global Community Service Foundation coordinates all logistics & permits. Help Environmental Farming in Myanmar
 
The Inle Lake tribes were driven from land in the 16th century. They built their homes and established floating gardens on the lake. The lake has been polluted by the use of chemical fertilizer, and waste from the families and animals. This project will help the Intha people to establish environmentally friendly methods of gardening and to decrease the amount of chemical and human pollutants in the lake.
