Safe Drinking water for Pakistan

Challenge

Sindh Province of Pakistan facing severe water crises, according to a recent survey only 19% of people have access to safe drinking water in Sindh. Sindh province divided in desert area, barrage area and hilly area. The situation is worst in all areas mentioned, Tharparkar facing Safe drinking water challenges for years, but people still drink water from open surface water wells, which contaminated because of rope and bucket. Other areas facing challenges because of poverty to install water well

Solution

Embarking upon this emergent need of Drinking water, Fast Rural Development Program FRDP proposing the Deep-water wells for the District Tharparkar area, these deep-water wells will cover 20-30 families and around 200 people and animals to provide the safe drinking water centre to those households. We propose the household pumps other than District Tharparkar which will cover around 5-10 families around 50 people and animals to have to access the safe drinking water.

Long-Term Impact

Above mentioned areas people have access to safe drinking water at the doorstep without hazards. Because the FRDP team will provide the Drinking water as per WHO standards so we always take pre & post water samples for our laboratory testing. We will share reports to our individual donors who donated the water wells with there name, we will provide the five steps of our reporting with evidence of pictures at the location and we would welcome if anyone wants to visit there donated well anytime.
