Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund
A 7.2 magnitude earthquake has caused widespread damage in Haiti, where the impact of the deadly 2010 earthquake is still felt. There is widespread damage to buildings and more than 2,000 people have been killed. GlobalGiving is working closely with our partners on the ground to get emergency support to them in this time of need. Your donation will go to vetted nonprofits providing emergency relief, water, food, medicine, and shelter in Haiti.
Afghanistan Emergency Fund
Across Afghanistan, thousands of civilians have been killed and hundreds of thousands have been forced from their homes. With the Taliban now in power, families, communities, and livelihoods are more threatened than ever. GlobalGiving is working closely with our partners on the ground to get emergency support to people in Afghanistan and those fleeing the country. Your donation will go to vetted nonprofits working in the region, as well as those working to help Afghan refugees.
TPF Turkey 2021 Wildfire Relief Fund
On July 28 and 29 more than 60 fires started in 21 cities in Turkey. As of July 30th, 14 of these fires (in Adana, Osmaniye, Mersin, Antalya, Mugla, Kayseri, and Manisa) are still not under control. The massive fires have been spreading due to high temperatures and winds. The fires are unprecedented in scope and impact. All donations to this fund will support wildfire relief and recovery efforts in Turkey.
Food for children affected by South African Riots
The mass destruction of businesses, homes and city infrastructure caused by violent riots in the South African provinces of KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng has left thousands of young children in vulnerable communities without access to essential items - specially food. We are providing emergency aid to young children and their families in these areas in partnership with various disaster relief organisations, food and logistics partners as well as volunteers.
