Overview of the Program Goal: To provide 50 Afghan women with entrepreneurial and digital skills so they can take an active role in the global digital economy. Timeline: The program will support the remaining participants in later phases after starting with an initial cohort of 10 women in January 2025.

Funding Partner: One of Aseel's esteemed partners has provided funding for this program, demonstrating the cooperative approach to bringing about significant change.

Impact Measures: Participants are expected to show that they can manage digital projects or work remotely in a tech-based job by the end of Phase 1.

Future Stages: Aiding in the Extension of the Remaining 40 Women Program: The program will grow to include the remaining 40 women, building on the success of the first phase, with a completion goal of the end of 2025.Improvements in training delivery, participant selection, and results will be guided by the lessons learned from Phase 1. Continued Assistance: In order to guarantee financial sustainability for the initiative's expansion, Aseel will keep up its close collaboration with the funding partner. To increase resource availability and impact, more collaborations with regional and global organizations will be investigated.

Long-Term Goals: By serving as mentors and trainers for incoming cohorts, participants in the program hope to build a self-sustaining ecosystem. For sustained involvement, participants will be incorporated into Aseel's tech-based e-commerce and humanitarian platforms.

In Afghanistan, where women are not permitted to work or pursue higher education, we have created this initiative to provide Afghan girls with a source of income through online jobs. This fellowship program is designed to help them gain valuable skills and knowledge. To support their remote work, we provide a monthly stipend, internet connection, computer, and solar panel. This way, every girl who is a breadwinner for her family will have both an income and the opportunity to grow and gain experience.
