Aseel Technology Corporation is proud to announce the continuation and expansion of its impactful initiative, 50 Women in Tech, a program designed to empower Afghan women by equipping them with essential digital and technological skills. This initiative directly aligns with our mission to drive inclusive access to the digital economy and promote ethical leadership among women in underdeveloped communities. Program Overview The 50 Women in Tech initiative prepares Afghan women for remote employment in the global tech sector by offering comprehensive training in digital tools and platforms. This not only addresses the gap in digital literacy but also empowers participants to emerge as leaders and changemakers in their communities. Cohort One: Partnerships and Milestone The first cohort comprised 10 fellows and was implemented in collaboration with Code to Inspire, RapidIteration, and the AJA Foundation. These partnerships provided the infrastructure and mentorship necessary to initiate meaningful digital engagement for Afghan women. Cohort Two: Expansion and Support Building on the success of the first cohort, the second group of 10 fellows was onboarded with support from W4, Vital Voices Global Partnerships, and Refuge Support. The onboarding event took place last week and marked a significant step forward in achieving our goal of supporting 50 women through this initiative. Progress and Future Goals With 20 fellows currently onboarded, the initiative is on track toward its goal of reaching 50 participants. Our commitment to fostering meaningful collaborations remains central to the success of this mission. We deeply value the support received from partner organizations and look forward to expanding these relationships to create even greater impact. Call to Collaboration We extend an open invitation to potential partners to join us in this transformative journey. Together, we can amplify opportunities for Afghan women, promote knowledge sharing, and foster leadership in the tech space. A detailed program brief is available for review to provide further insight into the initiative’s structure and impact.
