Support 1000 women affected by the earthquake

Dear Donor,

I am writing to inform you about the women you supported with your donations.

More than a year and a half has passed since the earthquake that affected 11 provinces in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. However, especially in Hatay, the majority of the population continues to live in container camps. Temporary shelters cause the need for hygiene, cleaning and personal care products to continue.

Therefore, we used your donations to increase the number of hygiene, cleaning materials and baby care products for women and children in Hatay. Mavi Kalem supported 150 households with your donations for this project in Hatay, the province most affected by the earthquake. I would like to share with you the thanks of a beneficiary in a household we touched with your support;

A year and a half has passed since the earthquake that hit 11 provinces in southeastern Turkey. With more than 50,000 lives lost and districts and villages almost wiped off the map, life has not returned to normal. Especially in Hatay, most of the population continues to live in container camps. Since the region is the hottest climate zone in Turkey, living in containers during these months triggers various hygiene and health problems and creates security risks, especially for women.

We used your donations to increase the number of hygiene, food and winter blanket distributions to women and children in Hatay. Mavi Kalem supported 50 households with your donations to this project in Hatay, the province most severely affected by the earthquake. I would like to share with you the thanks of a beneficiary in a household we touched with your support;
