Orb Media is committed to asking bold questions about critical issues facing billions of people across the globe. And last summer, in advance of major elections from Zimbabwe to the United States, we asked: What drives the youth of today?
Generation Activist: Young People Choose Protest Over Traditional Politics, published on September 5th, revealed a growing generation gap in how we participate in politics and raised key questions around whether and how politics must be reinvented to more successfully incorporate all citizens.
The story was published by eight agenda setting media brands including The Hindu (India), Folha de São Paolo (Brazil), Channels (Nigeria), and Tempo Media Group (Indonesia) and referenced more than 420 times in 28 countries, crossing more than 690,254,713 screens.
We are thrilled to have achieved this level of amplification – and we could not have done so without your generous support.
As we close this project, having completed our impact story lifecycle from reporting to impact tracking, we invite you to support our continued efforts to provide fact-based nonprofit journalism in the year to come. Through December 31st, your continued support will be matched 100% by #NewsMatch up to $1,000 per individual.
Thank you and happy holidays!
Warmly,
Molly
