The project titled women of Value is our currently the best project. We started with training the 40 women in making re-usable sanitary Pads , and mentrual hygiene education . Since then , the project has expanded and we are now health educating both boys and girls aged 7-16 in education institutions espacially the elementary schools/primary schools.
We have so far visited 40 schools. Under this education outreaches, we have health educated averagely 32000 pupils/children both boys and girls. The project beneficiaries are educated how they can make a re-usable sanitary pad using the locally available materials. They have also known information concerning mentrual hygiene.
During our follow-up activities, we have found it out that boys are now able to help girls who blood spot their school uniforms, instead of the boys laughing at them, they help their female counterparts. This shows the achievement of the project objectives.
We still have a challenge of transport, and money to purchase training materials. However so far so good. In case of an well wisher , please you are welcome so that we can health educate as many pupils as we can.
