One of the most meaningful moments in our project in these months has been a leisure activity that brought joy and new experiences to several of the women in our home, as they were able to spend a great time at the beach. What made this activity especially moving was that some of the participants had never seen the sea in person before.
This quarter also marked a transition for one of the women in the program who successfully completed her process and moved to another region of Spain. We recently reached out to her, and she is doing well in her new environment.
With her departure, a new participant has joined the project—a woman of African origin who speaks only English. We have already begun working with her on essential aspects of daily life, including Spanish language acquisition. We’ve secured a spot for her in a free language course starting in September, and we are confident that she will make great progress in learning the language and integrating into the community!
Thank you all for making these opportunities possible! Your continued support helps us create safe, empowering spaces where women can rebuild their lives and look toward a brighter future.
