In the last 3 months, ROSI Foundation produced Mangroves conservation and cultivation, saplings the nursery and planted in the coastal areas.We are continously conducting awareness meeting in Vedaranyam and Kodiyakarai for caring and conserving the existing Mangroves plants.
After the effort, Mangroves conservation and survival are ensured 1150 people from the coastal villages and adjacent areas are participating in the programme. In the meeting, the importance of mangroves, new plantation and conservation are discussed with them. Conservation from cutting firewood and other purpose must be stopped.
Fisherman community, students, youth and environmental groups are involved in the work we are requesting to support this programme through your friends and well wishes.
