As we promised during the International Women’s Day, we have started disbursement of our small grants to the 100 beneficiaries of the U-Fund for Women selected for the first batch this year.
The U-Fund for Women program is our own way of catalysing financial inclusion and economic development among women in the rural areas of Nigeria.
The level of poverty and hunger ravaging people, especially women in the rural areas who are struggling daily to take care of their families is too much.
As an organization, the Ugwumba Leadership Center shall continue to do our best to put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden in our society.
Once again, we are grateful to all those who made donations on this platform in support of this initiative: Mr. Uche; Mr. Uzoma; Engr. Kings; Mr. Rajan; Prof. Remi; Mr. Chris; and Ms. Phoenix.
