To further reach out to the marginalized groups in Nigeria, we adopted the Association of Women Living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria as beneficiaries of the U-Fund for Women.
Therefore, we announced the empowerment of 100 of women living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria in 2024 at the Economic Empowerment Summit organized for Women with HIV/AIDS and those living with disabilities by the UN Women in Nigeria. As at today, 50 of members of the association have received our small grants of N20,000 each.
Again, as part of our empowerment programs for beneficiaries of the U-Fund for Women, we partnered with ImpactHER Foundation to provide digital skills training to beneficiaries of our small grants.
Even though, it was a FREE training offered by ImpactHER, we provided the participating women with data and other resources required for their effective participation.
Once again, we are grateful to all those who made donations on this platform in support of this initiative: Mr. Uche; Mr. Uzoma; Engr. Kings; Mr. Rajan; Prof. Remi; Mr. Chris; and Ms. Phoenix.
We look forward to your donations to support this project on July 10, 2024 during the July Bonus Day.
Thank you!
