Unfortunately we are still desperate for the funding for a transporter to take the children to school and for extra-mural activities like going to the park, movies, or even for clinic visits.
Presently we have raised 5.5% of the funding needed for a vehicle, so we have a long way to go.
We have moved our bigger children out of Simunye (the big stand alone house) and back with the other children in three properties that are linked together, so taking them to school has become even more of a logistical nightmare as we need about 3 different vehicles to get them to school in the morning and to fetch them afterwards.
It was better for them to be part of the bigger children's home and for the forming of relationships between the children, but it has meant more of a logistical nightmare for the staff.
Thank-you to all who have helped get us this far.
We really hope that 2024 will bring us the full funding for this transporter.
